45th RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen of the Nürburgring Endurance Series
At the endurance race on the doorstep in the Eifel, the team will bring one Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and the GT4 counterpart of the British sports car to the start.
“It will be our third attempt with the GT3 and if I may use a well-worn saying, all good things come in threes,” continues team boss Esser. “In any case, we are continuing our GT3 program and hope to make some progress.” As usual, the two Belgians Maxime Dumarey and Jean Glorieux will pilot the GT3 car.
Alongside Guido Dumarey, Emil Heyerdahl will pilot the Aston Martin Vantage GT4. The Norwegian was recently accepted into the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy and is competing with 21 other drivers for special sponsorship from the British manufacturer. In the last rounds of the Nürburgring Endurance Series and at the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers, the Norwegian earned his A Permit and showed convincing performances on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
As usual, the race will start at 12 noon on Saturday, with qualifying taking place beforehand from 08:30. Fans at home can follow the race on the official livestream at www.vln.de. For €18 admission, spectators can also watch the race on site. This not only takes them to the open grandstands at the Grand Prix circuit and the exclusive spectator areas Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten, but also to the paddock, the pit lane and the starting grid. A visit to the ring°werk, the motorsport experience museum at the Nürburgring, is also included in the ticket price.
