Class victory (SP9 Pro-Am) at the ROWE 6H race.
With the ROWE 6-hour ADAC Ruhr Cup race, the Nürburgring endurance series said goodbye to the two-month summer break. The six-hour race is one of the season highlights of the long-distance series every season. GDM and PROsport Racing brought three vehicles to the start in warm temperatures.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 continued the series of successes in the racing series. In the SP9 Pro-Am class, Maxime Dumarey and Mike David Ortmann drove to the second class win in a row. Due to the disqualification of a competitor, the car was classified fourth overall, just missing out on a top 3 finish overall.
In qualifying, the 2022 ADAC GT4 Germany champion Ortmann once again broke the 8:00 minute barrier with the British GT3 car and once again impressively demonstrated the progress that the team from Wiesemscheid has made with the vehicle. "I am very happy that we were able to achieve our second class victory in a row in the SP9 Pro-Am", says team owner Chris Esser. “The drivers, the team and the car did a flawless job, which was not an easy task given the hot conditions and the longer race distance. We hope that we can continue like this after the summer break.”
The two gentleman drivers Guido Dumarey and Yevgen Sokolovskiy started at the wheel of the Aston Martin Vantage GT4. The two drivers showed a flawless and consistent performance in the hot conditions and finished the race in fourth place in the GT4 class.
